Wireless internet coming to downtown Seneca

Wireless internet is coming to downtown Seneca, courtesy of city government.  During a meeting last night, City Administrator Greg Dietterick said from certain spots along Main Street, wireless internet will be free to the user.  The only price to pay, according to Dietterick, is that the user must first watch a video commercial of upcoming events.  As explained by the city’s I-T consultant, Jeff Hopkins, it’ll be an avenue to entice downtown visitors, such as those at Jazz on the Alley, to come back for other events.
