“Working on it now”

Sources are indicating to 96.3/WGOG NEWS there are developments in the death investigation last month of a 27-year old woman whose body was found at a Walhalla home. Sheriff Mike Crenshaw used the term, “working on it now” this morning to describe the status of new developments in the death of Alana Carpenter. A preliminary investigation of the death suggested the 27-year old woman may have died from a possible alcohol/prescription drug overdose, but the coroner later reported an autopsy showed the cause as manual strangulation and the manner of death a homicide. The resident of that Walhalla home, Caleb Nathaniel Linart, was arrested and charged with murder.
