Wreck victim succumbs

The Illinois man involved in a car-motorcycle accident last week near Walhalla has died. Coroner Karl Addis reported the death of Fredryk Turak yesterday afternoon at Greenville Memorial Hospital—from complications of multiple traumatic blunt force injuries three days before. Turak was 59 years old. According to the highway patrol, Turak’s motorcycle collided Thursday morning three miles west of Walhalla with a Dodge driven by 85-year old Florida resident Harry Constantinos. Troopers say the accident occurred in Constantinos’ lane of travel, the westbound lane. Addis ruled the death of Markham, Illinois resident Fredryk Turak accidental. No autopsy will be ordered.
