Zoning change Ok’d

A compromise reached last week means a zoning change in Seneca. The city board of zoning appeals approved a variance that will allow an apartment complex on West South Fourth Street to relocate its entrance sign. Ed Halbig, director of planning and community development, said the board vote authorizes the sign a distance of 15 feet from the street pavement. The apartments involved, known as Applewood, are located across the street from the fire department.
