An invite to bid!

Meetings have dragged on for hours and thousands of words have been written about the subject. Now, a new timeline for Oconee County and its project to lay the first sewer pipe in the southern end of the county. Voice of Southern Oconee, an advocate of the Golden Corner Commerce Park sewer extension, calls attention to a bid date next month for interested contractors. Bids are to be taken until September 12 to cover all materials, equipment, and labor to build 10 and 12-inch force main lines along SC 59—from Seneca to Fair Play. In a statement to its members this morning, VOSO said, “This bid represents a great, visible step toward the future of south Oconee.”
