Anderson man arrested in child porn case

An Anderson man has been arrested on child pornography charges—as part of the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force of the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office. The arrest of Kenny Allen Swaney was announced this afternoon by Attorney General Alan Wilson. According to Wilson’s office, the task force received a referral from investigators at the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office that images depicting children engaged in sexual activity had been disseminated from an account traced to Swaney’s home. The Anderson Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant and, according to the Attorney General’s Office, electronic equipment was seized.
