Apartments change hands for $8.6M

The deal consummated for the sale of a large Seneca apartment complex this week involved multi-millions of dollars.  The deed and documents filed with Oconee County show the transaction price at $8.6 million—between the seller, Seneca Prescott LLC of West Springfield, Massachusetts and the buyer, LCP Clemson LLC, a Delaware limited liability company with an address in Summit, New Jersey.  Formerly North Woods apartments at Wells Highway and Radio Station Road, Clemson Ridge consists of 120 units in 10, three-story buildings.  The transaction, recorded in the office of the Oconee Register of Deeds, means a recording fee due the county of 31 thousand, 820 dollars.
