Around 900 graduate today at Clemson University

More than 900 graduates received their degrees today at Clemson University’s summer graduation ceremony.  “This is a day when we celebrate your hard work and your achievements and imagine call of the possibilities that lie ahead for you, President James Clements told the graduates.  Four-hundred graduates received bachelor’s degrees and 529 received master’s degrees.  The university’s 79 Ph.D. recipients were honored yesterday at the Doctoral Hooding Ceremony.  A posthumous bachelor’s degree in nursing was presented to Bonnie Jean Kay of Easley, who died in May.
