Attorney’s license suspended

By order of the South Carolina Chief Justice, an Oconee County attorney’s license to practice has been placed on interim suspension. The order in the matter of Scott Christen Allmon, signed by Chief Justice Jean Toal, gives no reason for the interim suspension. Toal’s order states, “IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that respondent is hereby enjoined from access to any trust account(s), escrow account(s), operating account(s) respondent may maintain.” The lawyer directory Justia.com identifies Allmon as a lawyer with nine years experience.
