Matthew Durham was a visitor to yesterday’s meeting of the Westminster Rotary Club.  Accounts received indicate the Rotarians gave the new chairman of county council a warm reception.  Durham was a visitor only and did not address the Rotarians, although it’s likely he’ll receive an invitation to be a future meeting speaker.

Ballots in the mail today

Chance to vote early in Seneca’s next election.  The office of county registrations is placing in the mail today ballots for Seneca’s special election May 30.  A spokesman said those ballots are being mailed to city voters who’ve asked for them.  On May 30 Seneca will fill a vacant council seat.  There are five ballot candidates.
