Summer storm impacts Walhalla to Salem

Around 7:15 this morning, we expect the official measurement from Walhalla’s weather watcher as to what yesterday afternoon’s storm dumped.  Already an image provided by the Salem mayor, Lynn Towe, shows a gauge filled with more than 3.5″.  Between Seneca and Clemson, however, a lot of wind, but apparently little measured precipitation.
