A shooting last night in the vicinity of Oconee’s Tamassee community.  A statement last night from the sheriff’s office reads:  “At this time, there is no danger to the public.  Unless conditions warrant, the Sheriff’s Office will not be releasing any further information this evening regarding our ongoing investigation.”

If you run a business in Seneca, your annual license to do business there is now payable.  City of Seneca 2022 business licenses are now due.  Questions should be asked at City Hall, at 864/885-2700.  Penalties are tacked on for unpaid business licenses after April 30.
