Barbara Ellen Hicks Sechrist

 

Mountain Rest, SC— Barbara Ellen Hicks Sechrist, 85, wife of the late Leonard Gene Sechrist, of 151 Chauga Hill Road, Mountain Rest, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2016, at her home. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Sechrist was preceded in death by her son: Leonard Brent Sechrist; and sisters: Faye Baumgarner and Dell Nora Hicks. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 PM, Thursday, June 16, 2016, at Davenport Funeral Home with burial to follow at Monte Vista Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM, Wednesday, June 15, 2016, at Davenport Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Barbara Sechrist Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 571, Walhalla, SC, 29691. The family would like to give special thanks to Ann Sechrist, Vicki Bowman, and Pruitt Health Hospice.
