Blood drive remembers fallen trooper

On December 6, 2000 Eric Nicholson donated blood.  Two hours later, Nicholson became the 41st state trooper to lose his life in the line of duty in South Carolina.  To honor his memory, the Blood Connection will hold its annual drive this Friday.  You can help others by donating blood, exhibiting the kind of spirit that Nicholson demonstrated.  All donors will receive a “troopers for life” t-shirt designed with the official South Carolina trooper badge.  Oconeeans can donate locally Friday between 8 a-m and 6 p-m at the Blood Connection Center at 1308 Sandifer Boulevard, Seneca.
