Blood found at burglary scene near Seneca

The burglar who got into a home near Seneca through a window and stole a gun and cash apparently left something behind. An Oconee sheriff’s deputy found blood nearby 1460 South Walnut Street, and now the Sheriff’s Office requests the public to provide any information that can be helpful to solve what happened there November 3, 2013. The victim came home from church that day and discovered a Marlin Lever Action .22 Rifle missing from his gun rack. The rifle was valued around $250 dollars. The thief also took $60 dollars in cash.
