Brandon Sebirumbi Inks Contract With Portugal’s Sampaense

Former Furman University men’s basketball standout Brandon Sebirumbi inked a professional contract with Sampaense Basket of the Portuguese Basketball League, it was announced this week.  The 6-foot-9 forward paced the Paladins averaging 11.1 points and 5.6 rebounds per game as a senior during the 2011-12 season. He shot 52.9% from the field while starting all 31 games and leading Furman to the Southern Conference quarterfinals. A four-year starter, the Fort Worth, Texas, product played in 123 games as a Paladin and made 107 starts during his career in Greenville.
