Burglars strike Tamassee-Salem High

Tamassee-Salem High, the school that the county trustees voted last week to close next year, has been hit by burglars.  According to the Sheriff’s Office, investigators remained at the school in Salem as late as 10:30 this morning collecting evidence.  The burglary was reported just before 6:30 this morning.  Some building and bus windows were broken, and there’s word of some damage inside the school.
