Busy weekend for emergency calls

Two persons hurt in a rollover car accident last night near Westminster. Oconee County Dispatch reports the accident involved a car that rolled into a ditch at 8:30 on the N. Horseshoe Bridge Road. Emergency responders were on the go several times over the weekend. Besides the Walhalla church fire, there were several medical responses. A Norfolk Southern train struck an empty pickup truck left abandoned on the tracks at the entrance to Hart’s Cove Apartments near Clemson. And responders took part in missions to find three missing persons.
