By the deadline, incumbent draws challenger

At the deadline to file today, a challenger emerged for Seat Two, Oconee County Council. According to the state Election Commission, Jared Ketterman joined incumbent Wayne McCall to run for the Republican nomination for that seat.  Ketterman’s state of candidacy shows he lives in Mountain Rest. The winner in June will face no ballot opposition from the Democrats or any other third party.
