Cain and Inabinet to contest twice

Two Seneca men will contest each other twice for the votes needed in the race for Seat Three, Oconee County Council. Paul Cain and Andy Inabinet signed up yesterday as candidates to run in the June Republican primary. The nominee there gets his name on the ballot in November for a full, four-year term. In the meantime, Cain and Inabinet are engaged in a special GOP primary April 1 to be their party’s nominee for a special May election. The winner of that special election gets to fill the remaining months of the District Three term of the late Archie Barron.
