Carter starts to grasp Westminster challenges

Someone asked Chris Carter yesterday if , after three weeks on the job, had he solved all of Westminster’s problems. The new city administrator replied he hasn’t been there long enough to even know all the problems.  But he is getting an idea.  And he mentioned a couple of the challenges when he spoke yesterday to the Rotary Club.  One is abating the city’s nuisance problems; the other, is retail electric power charges thru the city’s membership in a municipal wholesale power consortium.  Carter told 101.7/WGOG NEWS both are solvable problems. He is anticipating his first meeting August 18 as a Westminster representative on the board of directors of the power consortium, the PMPA.
