Chamber to leave downtown

The Oconee Chamber of Commerce will forsake its downtown Seneca location for office space closer to By-Pass 123. An announcement by the chamber’s new executive director, Jillian Lusk, states the chamber is in the process of leaving Ram Cat Alley for 135C Eagle Nest Drive in the Eagles Nest Office Park on N. Walnut off 123. About the new location, Lusk said, “It has ample parking, meeting rooms for our members, and wireless internet for members.” The move takes place this week and, while it’s underway, there may be interruptions in normal work hours.
