Chamber to take the pulse on alcohol

The Oconee Chamber of Commerce is interested to find out whether something started in Seneca might be worthy of spreading to commerce countywide. The chamber of commerce is taking a survey of its membership to gauge its attitudes on the potential for Sunday alcohol sales. “We are putting a survey out there to see where membership stands. And if they feel like that is something that affects business, whether it doesn’t affect business, and whether they feel like it’s something we should be weighing in on,” Jillian Lusk, chamber executive director told 96.3/WGOG NEWS this morning.
