Charges arise from Seneca traffic stop

The stop of a car Friday night in Seneca led to the arrest of an Anderson woman.  The Seneca police identified April Michelle Carranza as the driver and the woman charged with receiving stolen goods and the possession of burglary tools.  Officer J-A Aguilar stopped a Ford Explorer on S. Oak Street and later determined that a bag of clothing and other items found in the car belonged to Tractor Supply near Seneca.  An affidavit in an arrest warrant issued by Seneca’s associate judge alleges that Carranza was in the possession of “a tool commonly used in the commission of the crime of shoplifting.”
