Community of Plane Crash Victims Express Shock

The community of Warsaw, Indiana, is mourning the loss of the four men who died in the plane crash Friday near the South Carolina/Georgia line. Deb Patterson, writer for inkfreenews.com writes says the community has lost, “four prominent and beloved individuals – businessmen, coaches, an attorney, sportsmen and civic leaders.”  Charles Smith, the 71 year old pilot of the single-engine Piper Saratoga, was seeking re-election as City Councilman. Scott Smith, son of Charles Smith, was a local attorney. Scott Bibler, 51, was a former football coach at Tippercanoe High School. The other victim, 54 year old Tony Elliott, was a local businessman and former Sprint Car Driver.
