Congressional candidates to speak in Seneca

Two candidates for Congressional seats are among the speakers planned for this Saturday’s convention of Oconee County Democrats.  The event will take place at 9:30 a-m at the Gignilliat Community Center.  The convention will hear Hosea Cleveland, a Seneca businessman, who seeks the Third District seat now held by Republican Jeff Duncan.  Chris Fedalei, a 26-year old resident of Spartanburg, will be part of a panel with two other young Democrats who will talk about their experiences in promoting political consciousness among college-age voters.  Other panelists will be Justin Smith, senior at Clemson University; and Jon Franklin, senior at West-Oak High who started a Young Democrats Club at his school.
