Court to hear Tamassee-Salem appeal

A court docket indicates the appeal of the decision to close an Oconee County school will be heard next month.  As part of a week of non-jury matters, the docket lists the appeal of Lynne Martin of the Oconee School Board’s decision to close the Tamassee-Salem Middle/High School at the end of this school year and send its student to Walhalla schools.  Judge Cordell Maddox is to take up Martin’s case at 4 o’clock Monday afternoon, February 8 at the Oconee Courthouse.
