CU to dedicate new Life Sciences Facility

In a public ceremony, Clemson University will dedicate the new, 100 thousand square foot Life Sciences Facility on campus. Friday’s public events include the dedication ceremony at 1 o’clock and self-guided tours of the facility from 1:30 to 3:30. The facility, adjacent to the Poole Agricultural Center near the Brooks Center for the Performing Arts, represents a $50 million investment. It has 25 laboratories, organized by research clusters that focus on emerging pathogens, cancer prevention and cure, microbiology and food safety, and an advanced imaging suite.
