Date set to argue Pioneer’s pre-trial motion

A court officer tells 101.7/WGOG NEWS the pre-trial motion in the Pioneer Rural Water litigation will be argued 9 o’clock Friday morning, August 25 at the Anderson County Courthouse.  That’s three days before the scheduled start of a bench trial on the merits of the case brought by Pioneer’s legal adversaries.  The motion hearing is expected to represent Pioneer’s chance to convince the judge to throw out the case before trial.
