Domestic violence complaint leads to arrest

What started as a late night domestic violence complaint from a home in Seneca led to the arrest of a 23-year old man at another location. Police department and arrest reports show Brody Lee Bridges charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, marijuana possession first offense, disorderly conduct, and assault and battery third degree. According to the police, the assault charge was filed against Bridges, at the request of the man’s grandmother who claimed Monday night her grandson drew back his fist as though he was going to strike her. The police say that at S. Walnut and W. Crescent Drive, Bridges was detained after officers saw a man flee. The police say Bridges’ clothing emitted an odor consistent with marijuana and that, during a frisk search for weapons, confiscated a “black/brown pipe” from his pocket.
