E. Main Street/Shiloh Road repaving

Seneca is hopeful that state road money will resurface more than four miles of East Main Street from Walnut Street to the Wells Highway.  101.7/WGOG NEWS has learned that, at the least, members of the state “C” Fund Committee for Oconee County are talking about smoothing out the bumpy 4-way stop intersection of Main and N. Cherry streets.  Mayor Dan Alexander said his city has sent a request to the committee to address more than four miles of the street and road that pass by the intersection, cross the railroad, and pass the new city-county Seneca Rail Site industrial park.
