Economic development project for Pickens County

Zero Connect, an assembler and distributor of fiber optic and copper cables, is establishing operations in Pickens County. An announcement today by the Governor’s Office states the new development will create 72 new jobs and lead to an investment of more than $1.3 million. Zero Connect is a custom cable assembly manufacturer and supplier of off-the-shelf fiber and copper products for voice, data and video applications. With years of experience in the contracting and manufacturing sectors, the company features on-staff industry experts dedicated to meeting customers’ requirements. Located at 182 Kayaker Way in Easley, S.C., the company will be renovating a portion of an existing building to create 18,000 square-feet of manufacturing space.
