Field of candidates is final

When the clock struck 12 today, the books closed for those Seneca residents running this year for their city council. At the close of the deadline, the field was split evenly—between challengers and incumbents. Those council members whose four-year terms are expiring who are running again are Andrea Alewine, Scott Durham, Ernest Riley, and Joel Ward. They are being challenged by Stuart Pohl, Robert Holbrooks, Denise Rozman, and Joel Arnold. Arnold and Rosman were final day filers. This year’s election to fill the four seats available takes place March 11.
