Fire strikes clubhouse in home development

Fire is said to have heavily damaged or destroyed the clubhouse this morning at a Lake Keowee home development.  Oconee Rural Fire Control received the first call at 2 o’clock of a fire in the clubhouse at Waterside Crossing Clubhouse on N. Waterside Drive near 183, the Walhalla-Pickens Highway.   Volunteers from the Keowee-Ebenezer Fire Department are among the fire fighters answering the call.
