First-hour filers

The candidates’ books for this year’s Town of West Union election had barely opened today before there were two takers. Linda Oliver filed to run for another term as mayor and Sharon Zimmerman filed to run for re-election to the town council. West Union residents interested in running in the April 1 election have until noon Friday, January 31 to sign up.
