Four detained in Seneca

The police in Seneca report four people detained as part of the investigation into the discovery of a methamphetamine lab inside two rooms at a By-Pass 123 motel. According to Chief John Covington, suspicious activity led the police yesterday morning to the Town ‘n Country Motel. A meth lab cleanup crew was summoned from Columbia, and Seneca Major Jeremy Rothell predicted several hours would be required for the cleanup. Meantime, Seneca’s building codes department was brought in, and Rothell said a determination was made to close a total of four rooms to guests and the public.
