Georgia wreck victim now jailed in Oconee

A Georgia man injured in a motorcycle accident in his home state and flown to a Tennessee hospital is now in the Oconee County jail, where he faces charges dating back nine years. The Oconee Sheriff’s Office identifies the arrested man as Gregory Wendell Rutledge, a 53-year old resident of Chatsworth, Georgia. Oconee deputies went to Chattanooga to collect Rutledge. Warrants allege Rutledge is accused of pointing or presenting a firearm, first degree burglary and larceny in an incident in August 2005 on Wolfer’s Hollow near Walhalla.
