New York Giants player Victor Cruz visited the family Tuesday of six-year-old Newtown massacre victim Jack Pinto, who was such a big fan of the receiver that he was buried in his Cruz jersey. After Cruz’ visit to the Pinto home, several children and their families left with autographed Giants footballs and jerseys. He later tweeted, “Much love to the entire Pinto family. Great people with huge hearts.” After learning over the weekend that Pinto had been a huge fan, Cruz wore shoes with the messages, “R.I.P. Jack Pinto,” “Jack Pinto, my hero” and “This one is for you” during the Giants’ game Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons.
