Grand opening of Clemson’s Freeman Hall

Grand opening took place yesterday for the $10 million addition to Clemson University’s Freeman Hall.  According to the university, the end of this construction project for the industrial engineering department signals the birth of a new era toward pre-eminence.  The three-story addition on Fernow Street is among the first projects to be completed since the building boom began on and near the campus.  That building boom has sent battalions of work trucks into Clemson daily.  The addition measures 21 thousand square feet at a time when enrollment has skyrocketed over ten years.
