High School Report – Wednesday

In area high school sports on Tuesday, West-Oak’s softball team defeated Emerald 3-2. Sophomore Hannah Price took the win on the mound, striking out 11 while allowing 9 hits and two runs. The Warriors are on the road at Belton-Honea Path on Thursday. Tamassee-Salem defeated Whitmire Tuesday 11-6. The Eagles baseball team also defeated Whitmire by a 5-4 final. T-S will hit the road on Friday ot face McCormick.
