Hungriest can thank busy soup kitchen

Many of Seneca’s and Oconee County’s hungriest individuals can thank a group of workers and volunteers for a daily meal. An open house yesterday at Seneca’s Our Daily Bread highlighted the benevolent work  of the Daily Bread staff and many in the community who donate to keep the freezer and pantry stocked. Richard Ledford, chairman of the board of directors and an original board member from 17 years ago, counts 27 thousand meals served through the years, including a 140% increase between 2003 and last year. 96.3/WGOG NEWS also spoke to a couple members on the Monday through Friday serving line: Julie Prezedpelski and Our Daily Bread manager Chastity Clayton.
