Industry inducement agreement made final

In routine fashion, Oconee County leaders made final an inducement agreement for an existing county manufacturing employer to expand.  But there is to be no announcement until later as to which company it is, though the county’s economic development recruiter went so far in an interview with 101.7/WGOG NEWS to identify the company as a 24-year member of the county’s industrial community.  Richard Blackwell explained that although the inducement resolution was made final last night, there are still two more readings ahead including a fee in place tax agreement with the company.
