It’s voting day in the Seneca area

Voters in the Seneca area have a date at the polls today to cast a ballot for the candidate of their choice. Andy Inabinet and Paul Cain are engaging in a special primary to decide the Republican nominee to run for the open District Three seat on the Oconee County Council. Voting today takes place at the Seneca voting precincts, at Newry, and at Utica. Once the result is made known, 96.3/WGOG will post the result on our website wgog.com. The winner advances to a special May election. The two men are also signed up to meet in the June GOP primary. That one decides which of the two gets to run for a full, four-year term.
