Jury qualifying begins

At Oconee General Sessions Court, jury qualification began in the State’s case against a 41-year old man. Assistant Solicitor Lindsey Simmons called the case against Dan Lavert Temple, charged with possession of a controlled substance second degree and possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine third offense. Temple is represented by Attorney Delane Rosemond. According to a list read by Judge Alex Macaulay, the trial could see as many as 18 witnesses, many of them employed by the Seneca police.
