Legal difficulties mount for two Pickens County men

Additional charges have been placed against two Pickens County men for their alleged involvement in incidents last weekend that cost the life of a third man. According to an announcement by the Oconee Sheriff’s Office, Octavis Jamal Robinson of Central and Tavis Savon Campbell have been charged with first degree burglary. The 19-year old Campbell faces the additional charge of pointing and presenting a firearm. Rashean Parker II, a North Carolina man who had past ties to Pendleton, died after being shot. The 17-year old Robinson was previously charged with attempted murder and attempted armed robbery. Investigators believe Robinson and Campbell broke into a home with the intent to commit a crime on the J-P Stevens Road.
