Library Board points to January 8

Chairman Danny Day and the rest of the Oconee Library Board of Trustees are gearing toward a special meeting eight days into the new year, for the purpose of approving an application to the Capital Project Sales Tax Commission. At their January 8 meeting, the library trustees seek to set their application to share in proceeds from a county one-cent sales tax—in the event that voters approve such a tax during referendum. Day’s comments about what’s ahead for the library board can be heard today on 96.3/WGOG NEWS.
