“Little free libraries” in place at Mountain Rest

Something new arrives this month in the Mountain Rest Community. They are called “little free libraries.” A dedication takes place 10 o’clock Saturday morning, May 17 at the outdoor stage on the grounds of the Mountain Rest Community Club. One such free library is positioned along the walking trail near the stage. You can take a book, pass one onto a friend, or leave books. Other little free libraries are in place at the convenience center on Tunnel Town Road, at the Oconee State Park office, and at the Mountain Rest Café and Mountain Lake Grill.
