Lt. Gov. hopeful to ask for Oconee votes

A Republican hopeful for South Carolina Lt. Governor campaigns in Oconee County. Mike Campbell, son of the late Carroll Campbell, a former governor, will make a stop in Seneca. He’ll be pressing the flesh at 9:30 Thursday morning at Betty’s Hungry House on S. Fairplay Street. Campbell aligns himself with Governor Nikki Haley and says, “Voters should know that as their Lt. Governor I will work with Governor Haley to continue restructuring government so that it saves taxpayers money, works more effectively and runs more efficiently.”
