McCall wants a third term

The Walhalla area member of the Oconee County Council will ask the voters this year to re-elect him.  Wayne McCall today is announcing his candidacy for a third term in office.  He remains a Republican.  District Two’s McCall identifies hot issues ahead as the need for Oconeeans to recycle more and the need for stricter rules covering water safety, in particular boating.  He also said he feels the continued responsibility to advocate less spending, considering there are many retired people who are having to get by on fixed incomes.
