Meeting will address new farmers market

A dinner meeting next week will address plans for the first Oconee Farmers Market. The Oconee Young Farmer and Agribusiness Association invites everyone at 6 o’clock Tuesday night, March 19 at Seneca High School. Christina Alexander, ag teacher, says arrangements are being made for Gwen McPhail and Stanley Gibson to speak about the farmers market planned for highway 123 near the Blue Ridge Electric Cooperative. Meal sponsors would like RSVPs by Friday to [email protected] or by calling 864-/886-4460.
